On Saturday at Gulfstream Park, the stakes action will continue with the $150,000 Hal’s Hope Stakes. The Grade 3 will be contested at one mile on the main track and has attracted a field of six colts and geldings. 
On Wednesday at Santa Anita, the featured race is the $75,000 Kalookan Queen Stakes. Carded at six and a half furlongs, the stakes race has drawn a field of eight fillies and mares. 
On Saturday at Los Alamitos, the featured race is the $350,000 Los Alamitos Futurity. Carded at a mile and a sixteenth, the Grade 1 event has drawn a field of seven two-year-old colts and geldings. 
On Saturday at Gulfstream Park, the featured race is the $100,000 Rampart Stakes. A Grade 3 event for fillies and mares, the one mile contest has attracted a field of eight. 
The battle for the Eclipse Award for Champion Older Male intensified on Thanksgiving weekend when both Tonalist and Effinex turned in stellar performances to put themselves in contention for the prestigious award. The Eclipse Awards will be announced in January.
