In his penultimate workout before the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) which will be held at Keeneland, Triple Crown champion American Pharoah turned in an impressive workout on Tuesday at Santa Anita, completing six furlongs in 1:10 4/5.

On Monday at Belmont Park, the featured race is the $200,000 Pebbles Stakes. Restricted to three-year-old fillies, the race has been carded at one mile on the turf and has drawn a field of eight.

On Saturday at Keeneland, the track will host the $500,000 Breeders’ Futurity. An automatic qualifier for the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1), the Grade 1 event will be run at a mile and a sixteenth and has drawn a field of twelve colts and geldings.

On Sunday at Belmont Park, the track will host the $125,000 Ashley T. Cole Stakes. Restricted to horses foaled in New York, the race will be contested at a mile and an eighth on the turf and has drawn a field of eight.

On Saturday at Belmont Park, the featured race is the $500,000 Sands Point Stakes. Restricted to three-year-old fillies, the Grade 2 will be contested at a mile and an eighth on the turf and has drawn a full field of twelve.
