Martin Wolfson has Loaded Trio in $100,000 Rampart Stakes

Trainer Martin Wolfson will saddle three of the contenders including the favorite, Best Behavior, who has been installed at odds of 5-2 on the morning line. Bred in Ontario, the five-year-old daughter of Into Mischief is an eight-time winner and will be trying to earn her first graded stakes victory. She has been on the board in five of her seven starts this year and was last seen winning an optional claiming race at Gulfstream Park. John Velazquez will be aboard from post seven.

Cali Star taking another shot at stakes company

Second choice at morning line odds of 3-1 is her stablemate, Cali Star, who also comes out of the Wolfson barn. A four-year-old daughter of Street Cry (IRE), she has been on the board in eleven of her seventeen starts and is a three-time winner. After an inconsistent year, she is stepping back up to stakes competition after winning an optional claiming race at Gulfstream Park West. Tyler Gaffalione will be aboard and they will break from the rail.

Legal Laura trying for second straight score

Also in the field at morning line odds of 8-1 is Legal Laura for trainer Kathleen O’Connell. Bred and owned by Gilbert Campbell, the four-year-old daughter of Wildcat Heir has won five of her fifteen starts and earned her first stakes victory last time out in the Millions Distaff Preview Stakes at Gulfstream Park West. She has been on the board in five of her seven starts this year and is scheduled to break from post five under jockey Paco Lopez.
