Carpe Diem has been installed as the co-favorite on the morning line at odds of 4-1 for trainer Todd Pletcher. Hashtag Bourbon tested around two-turns
Also at morning line odds of 4-1 is Hashtag Bourbon for trainer Kellyn Gorder. A two-year-old son of first-crop stallion sensation Super Saver, he broke his maiden in his second career start in the Mountaineer Juvenile Stakes. He stretched out to two-turns for his next start, the Iroquois (G3), and finished third. Julian Leparoux, aboard for his third-place finish in his debut, will be back aboard and they will break from post ten.
Conquest Tsunami puts four-win streak on the line
Also in the field at odds of 9-2 is the undefeated Conquest Tsunami. Trained by Mark Casse, the bay son of Stormy Atlantic was purchased for $190,000 as a yearling for Conquest Stables. After breaking his maiden over Keeneland’s synthetic track in April, he has won three consecutive races at Woodbine. He will be trying conventional dirt for the first time and will have Patrick Husbands aboard from post seven.
