London Tower headlines the field as the favorite at odds of 5-2 on the morning line. Owned, bred and trained by Steve Owens, the bay daughter of Head Chopper has won three of her four career starts and is a two-time stakes winner. Last time out, she made her sophomore debut a winning one in the Fury Stakes by half a length. She has been training steadily since then and will have Alan Garcia back aboard from post position six.
Leading Edge getting blinkers on
Second choice at 3-1 on the morning line is Leading Edge for trainer Roger Attfield. A gray daughter of Tapit, she has one win from six starts and has finished third three times. After a third-place finish in the Selene Stakes (G3), she will be competing with blinkers for the first time and has had a bullet workout since her last race. Luis Contreras will be aboard and they will break from post position eight.
Brooklynsway trying to earn second stakes win
Also in the field at morning line odds of 4-1 is Brooklynsway for trainer John Ross. A dark bay daughter of Giant Gizmo, she has been on the board in six of her eight starts and will be trying to earn the second stakes win of her career. She is trying to move forward after finishing fourth last time out in the Fury Stakes against a similar field and will have regular rider Emma Jayne Wilson in the irons from post position five.
