Bob Baffert will saddle Callback as the morning line favorite at odds of 3-1 for Spendthrift Farm. Purchased for $375,000 as a yearling, she has won two of her five career starts. She finished first last time out in the Sunland Park Oaks but was disqualified and placed fourth. She won the Las Virgenes (G1) two starts back and has been training forwardly at Churchill Downs. Victor Espinoza will be aboard and she will break from the inside post and wear blinkers for the first time.

Taylor S aiming for first graded stakes victory

Second choice at 4-1 on the morning line is Taylor S for trainer Dale Romans. A dark bay daughter of Medaglia d’Oro, she has been on the board in five of her six starts and has three victories to her credit. She won the Any Limit Stakes last time out and will be trying to earn her first graded stakes victory. Two of her wins have come at Churchill Downs and she will have Corey Lanerie in the irons from the outside post.

Promise Me Silver going for eighth straight win

Also in the field at 9-2 on the morning line is Promise Me Silver for trainer William Bret Calhoun. A gray daughter of Silver City, she is undefeated from seven starts and will be stepping up in class making her first start against graded stakes competition. Bred in Texas, she won the Debutante Stakes at Churchill Downs as a juvenile and will be reunited with jockey Robby Albarado from post position two.
