Second choice at morning line odds of 7-2 is Discreetly Grand for trainer Ralph Nicks. A four-year-old daughter of Discreetly Mine, she has been on the board in five of her nine starts and will be trying to notch her fourth career victory and first stakes win. She will have to rebound after finishing tenth in the Marie G. Krantz Memorial Stakes last time out. James Graham will be aboard and they will break from the outside post.
Also in the field at morning line odds of 6-1 is Shea’s Lil Shug for trainer Patrick Mouton. A five-year-old daughter of Gigawatt, the bay mare is a six-time career winner and will be stepping back up to stakes competition for the first time since her two-year-old season.
